Classical Radio

Classical radio stations are popular and you can usually find at least one in most major cities.  Classical radio stations play classical music in various styles and from various time periods.  These stations often feature contemporary classical music as well.  Since there are relatively few classical radio stations, compared with other musical genres, they are often very involved with local classical music scene and feature segments about local artists.  Classical radio stations emphasize the music, but another element often included is discussion on classical music and educational segments about classical artists, composers, or symphonies.  Classical music is enduring, and thus so are the stations that play it.
